Remote Patrol: Lily Allen, La Roux, Har Mar...

Lily Allen, La Roux, and Har Mar Superstar make this week's list of notable music videos.

If video killed the radio star, what did the Internet do to the mix? Well, I guess it screwed up the old model and made distribution easier... Every week I will feature some of music’s newest, greatest, and weirdest videos. Just tune in and Remote Patrol will take care of the rest.

Lily Allen: "Who'd Have Known"
Last September at London's GQ Man Of The Year Honors show an onstage tiff between Elton John and Lily Allen launched a feud between the two, which Stereogum predicts will end in an awkward Grammys collaboration. John chastised Allen for being drunk, she responded, "F*** off Elton, I'm 40 years younger than you, I have my whole life ahead of me," and he, after a pause, then said he could still snort her under the table. Well, here's some playful payback from Allen wherein she takes things a little too far and ties the aging pop queen to a chair in her living room. Only her intentions don't seem torturous, she's just looking for a companion. Well, in second thought, her affection might turn out to be plenty torturous... Super cute song!

La Roux: "I'm Not Your Toy (Jack Beats Remix)"
It's all about that drop isn't it? Skream's remix of La Roux's "Going in for the Kill" melted clubs around the globe this summer, sounds like this track might be taking the autumn. And if it doesn't? Well, at least her hair looks better than ever.

Har Mar Superstar: "Tall Boy"
Har Mar Superstar has a lot of famous friends. I can say this both because I've met him, have seen him around town, and have watched his newest music video for his single "Tall Boy," which features appearances by Eva Mendes, Alia Shawkat, and Eric Wareheim. In the video they all get together, put on glittery costumes and pose, pose, pose before getting splashed in the face with slurpees, milk and such. Yeah, for a guy who's main talents are looking like Ron Jeremy and dancing his ass off, Har Mar seems to be doing pretty well for himself.
