Remote Patrol: Wolfmother, Bishop Allen, JEFF...

Wolfmother, Bishop Allen, and JEFF The Brotherhood make this week's list of notable music videos.

If video killed the radio star, what did the Internet do to the mix? Well, I guess it screwed up the old model and made distribution easier... Every week I will feature some of music’s newest, greatest, and weirdest videos. Just tune in and Remote Patrol will take care of the rest.

Wolfmother: "New Moon Rising"
Dear Wolfmother, with your wailing guitars, pounding rhythms, and screeching solos. You Aussie mother-f******, thank you for your awesome pyscho psychedelic rock anthems and larger than life cocksure swaggers. Keeping the party going like it was 1969. On behalf of rock and roll, welcome back.

Bishop Allen: "True or False"
Cute song, fun video. Look closely and amongst all the flapping females you'll see drummer Michael Tapper -- former We Are Scientists drummer, and current member of Fool's Gold -- in his usual bearded fashion. Guy gets around!

JEFF The Brotherhood: "U Got the Look"
Nashville brothers and former Be Your Own Pet-ers, Jake and Jamin Orrall comprise the straight-forward psych-rock duo JEFF The Brotherhood and do it with great success. With their debut, Heavy Days, out on the brothers' own Infinity Cat label, the Orrall brothers are hitting the road with Ted Leo and Shonen Knife, stringing together rad riffs and power pop punk sensibilities, head tripping all the way through powerful two-and-a-half minute tracks and doing, that too, very well. Kudos boys.
