FUEL TV Shows: The Weekly Update with Boost Mobile

This week on The Weekly Update with Boost Mobile we start of with full coverage of the last two events on the O'Neill Coldwater Classic surf series. Local wildcard Peter Devries wins the Coldwater Classic Canada in Tofino, his first victory on the World Qualifying Series. And Nathan Yeomans rockets up the Q-S standing with a win at the Coldwater Classic California, held in bombing surf at Steamer Lane. Held in conjuction with the Coldwater California, the Oakley Pro Junior finds Nat Young on top of the podium. In other surf news, Garrett Parkes wins the Billabong Cloud 9 Invitational, and Hank Gaskell scores an upset over defending event champ Pancho Sullivan at the 26th Annual Xcel Pro presented by Honolua! The Surfing America Prime presented by Got Milk? holds its inaugural east coast event. Plus, interior design meets action sports at the Casa Surf Project. In skate, Jonathan Reese posts his second consecutive win at the 3rd Lair qualifier of the King of the Groms skate series. In BMX, Ride BMX drops Range of Motion. And in moto, weve got full contest and awards coverage of the 2009 AFMXA Awards presented by FUEL TV.

This week on The Weekly Update with Boost Mobile, the Top 17 convene at Lobitos for the final day of competition at the Movistar Peru Classicpresented by Rip Curl (pictured). Local Sofia Mulanovich scores her first win of the season. In other surf news, Kolohe Andino wins the Rip Curl GromSearch National Finals at Salt Creek. CJ Hobgood wins the Slater Brothers Invitational benefit contest. Eddie Gilbeau wins the Quiksilver King of the Peak skins event. Pinetrees hosts Volcom's Pufferfish Surf Series. And Rob Machado's wanderings and ponderings are featured in The Drifter. Plus, Santa Barbara surfers Nole Cossart and Chadd Konig paddle the coast of Southern California to raise awareness about coastal development. In skate, Texas hosts the Johnny Romano Skate Jam and the 2nd Annual Rock the Cradle for Johnny Romano Memorial Contest.
