Prospect Snowboards is gearing up for year number 2 and with the rockin response from testing and our riders there is utopic endless run set in place. We don't have clients, we don't have customers, and we don't have employees, We have riders, a team at Prospect. We are working to achieve a culture that supports a great company, great boards, and our word that backs up our team of riders.

We created Prospect to be a grass roots snowboard company. We are snowboarders, we ride hard, and we ride often. We've seen some things from board companies that we just don't believe represents the snowboarding culture. Like Wall Street board companies, stingy warranty services, and equipment that doesn't last. "The junk some companies are coming out with is bad for snowboarding." That being said, Prospect will be the forefront of all things that are good for snowboarding. This includes making our own boards, that have a lasting life, and can shred.

Pounding the park, hitting the back country, and kicking an urban session with Prospect are to be done with "make your mama scared" intensity, at blinding high speed,and with land 'em big stomplitude. We see so many boards break before the season ends and don't live up to what a rider demands. For2009/2010 we're bringing carbon fiber pop, reverse camber skate feel,and super durable advanced wood cores that are built to last. Our graphics are unconventional, fresh and carry a punk and grunge vibe. We don't sacrifice in our boards to be more efficient or to lower cost; we just make great boards.

We at Prospect are proud of what we have. The owner, Neil Henderson, has been snowboarding for 15 years and has been active in action sports of all varieties. According to Neil "There's been good experiences and bad, I don't want snowboarding to lose all that has been worked for and drop like fad; it is far too rad for that." With Neil's word, you get a 2 year warranty on all Prospect boards with the promise of no headaches. "If your board breaks, there is no guessing games,you'll get a new board and we back that with our word and our factory."
