UFC light heavyweight Jon "Bones" Jones is one of the most athletic and charismatic warriors competing in mixed martial arts (MMA) today. At 23 years-old and known for possessing one of the most electric offensive repertoires in all of MMA, Jones' athletic prowess combined with his magnetic appeal has catapulted the young prodigy toward true superstardom.
In 2007, Jones started training in MMA. Quickly rising through the ranks, Jon displayed what is widely considered the best performance in UFC history in March 2011. He dominated legendary martial artist Mauricio "Shogun" Rua with a TKO victory, becoming the youngest champion in UFC history.
Athleticism runs in the Jones family, as his brother is a defensive tackle for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL, and his other brother is a Defensive Lineman at Syracuse University.
