Mike Alessi

Mike Alessi

He was riding his motorcycle before he was even out of diapers, and by his father’s accounts, was more of a mini-factory rider than merely another amateur motocross racer. Alessi was truly born to be a professional motocross racer, and now he finds himself ranked among the fastest on the planet.

After one of the most impressive amateur careers in motocross history, Alessi was ready to join the professional circuit to prove that everyone should ‘believe the hype’ as his family t-shirts proclaimed.  Flashes of brilliance through the first four year’s of Alessi’s career certainly delivered on those promises.  He was always a contender for a podium finish and a national Championship. Several near misses plagued Alessi throughout his career. He has been on the cusp of winning championships on multiple occasions, but an injury here and a fall there have cost him over the years.
