Randy Couture
Randy "The Natural" Couture was born in Lynnwood, WA. During his six years in the Army, he took up boxing to supplement the already rigid military physical training.
Couture's preferred method of offense is known as the "Ground & Pound." Couture was an Olympic wrestling alternate. Throughout much of his career lived in Corvallis, Oregon, where he served as an assistant wrestling coach and strength and conditioning coach for Oregon State University. Randy is the only competitor to hold titles in both the Heavyweight and Light-Weight divisions. At UFC 129, Couture announced that he was "finally done fighting" at the age of 47.
