Tyla Rattray

Tyla Rattray has enjoyed success abroad on the European scene including becoming one of the youngest Grand Prix podium finishers ever in 2002. Ratters took first in the 2003 Dutch 125cc division, and in 2004, second at the FIM World Motocross Championship and the top-spot during the Motocross of Nations. By 2008, TR had joined the ranks of other famous South African riders such as Grant Langston and Greg Albertyn when he won the FIM Motocross title. Rattray then turned his attention to the American motocross series for 2009, where he placed ninth-overall in the 250 division on the Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki.

In 2010 Rattray made his debut in the East Coast Supercross Lites circuit. The former MX2 world champion incurred an injury to his shoulder blade, however, and was forced to miss the SX season in preparation for the outdoor nationals. His time off proved to be a good decision. He returned to Motocross and had a strong season, finishing second overall and overtaking his Pro Circuit Kawasaki teammate, Chirstophe Pourcel, in the final round. This year, Rattray will be returning aboard the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki KX250F.
