TRAINING: I'm a complex fighter, and every day I am working on raising my level of Muay Thai, wrestling, and BJJ. I am also working hard on my conditioning.


When and why did you start training for fighting? In 2005 my friend showed me Randy Couture fighting in the UFC and that was enough for me to start to train MMA and to dream that one day I can fight in the UFC. 

What ranks and titles have you held? Jiu-Jitsu black belt, two-time National Freestyle Wrestling Champion of Bulgaria, two-time 2nd place National Championship of Bulgaria, 1st place in international tournaments in Russia, Moldova, Turkey and Bulgaria. 

Do you have any heroes? My hero is Jesus Christ because he was born, suffered and died for us and our salvation.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? For me to fight in the UFC is a dream come true and I thank the Lord that gave me this opportunity

What was your job before you started fighting? I studied in Sports School for 11 years, where I trained wrestling (freestyle), then started with Jiu-Jitsu and MMA

Specific accomplishments in pro competition? Veteran of Shooto, Pancrase and Sengoku. Defeated Travis Wiuff and Kevin Randleman.
